The designers at Pocket Full of Papers are always ready for inspiration. So, we decided that we would start sharing with our readers a few of the great blogs we've come across. We will plan to highlight a blog every week -- sometimes an individual blog, sometimes a challenge blog -- who knows what we might find and share!

For our very first post, I wanted to share the talent of an amazing lady -- Becca. I found Becca's website about a year ago, and I am so glad I did. Her talent is beyond creative! I hope you will find inspiration among her many beautiful creations!

What's New Wednesdays!

This week I want to talk about HAMBLY Screen Prints! I love their overlays, paper, rubons and stickers. Their images are soooo cute. Remember the beautiful rub-on cage? I think I used that image on every layout I had for a month (LOL). Hambly sells a beautiful calendar too.

Well at CHA Summer they came out with WALL DECALS. I thought it was such a good idea. These decals looked so beautiful on their display walls at CHA and they are pretty big. These would be perfect to decorate your childs room or a dining room. How about your scrap room? I would definately put the cage on my walls (LOL)

What's New Wednesdays!

PFOP wants to bring you "what is new" in the scrapbook industry, or little tid bits of what the latest tools are, or maybe what a celebrity designer is up to, or just what PFOP is up to. Please comment and let us know if you like this weekly post or comment if there is something in particular you want to know about.


This month's "What's New Wednesdays" is about a brand new company that premiered at CHA in July. The company is Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker.

I was lucky enough to meet Nikki and Dan and they are the nicest couple, and Nikki's paper collection is fabulous!!! The first thing I thought when I saw her booth was "I WANT IT NOW!".


Ok, I guess I will have to wait, but boy are these papers cute or what!! You can do so much with these adorable papers, I dont know which one I like better, I can't choose .... guess I will have to buy them all (LOL) see how easy it is to talk myself into things.


Below are pics of her collections and let me tell you her papers are selling FAST. In my local LSS in FL a couple of stores already had to reorder!!


This is called "Victoria's Street" How cute are those house and what about the trees!! I love trees.










This one is called "My Sweet Cherry Pie" I love cherry pie dont you? I love, love, Cherry Paper!











This collection is called "Henry's Brillance." When you get to know me you will realized how much I LOVE OWLS, you know I will be buying some of this. I love the colors ....


Nikki Sivils also has a Halloween and a Christmas line out. Those collections are of course too cute also.

What's New Wednesday

It's been an exciting time for Pocket Full of Papers. We have been busy enjoying summer, getting a little scrapping in and then, some of us are a little busier than others...

CONGRATULATIONS to Dee Dee!! Her perfect little boy has arrived and he is DARLING!! Baby and Mom are doing nicely and we are thrilled.

Tammy E is a Grandmother again ~ busy with her new grandson. Absolutely darling too. Congratulations on being a Grandma again!!

I'm sure you are both so busy with your new arrivals and thinking of all those little BOY themes you can do ;-).

Speaking of new arrivals...PFOP has a new arrival!!

Tuesday's Tips

With all of the beautiful shaped albums that are out there to dress how about a tip for applying paper to shaped chipboard?

I trace the paper using the shaped chipboard page and then mark the top of the page on the inside because I find my cutting leans to the right a little ;-). Then I adhere the page in the center first ~ that way I can maneuver the sheet to fit exactly. Finally I apply the rest of the adhesive around the edges. Trim any extra and ink and your page is done!!
