Good Saturday morning.  If you stopped by hoping to be inspired, you are in for a treat!  Frances from Australia has an awesome blog, full of card ideas, called Stamp Owl's Studio.  I've been inspired by her great work for a couple of years, and she never fails to amaze me!  Click here to go to her blog.  You will be inspired for sure!

Inspiration Alley - January 23, 2010

Sorry I flaked out on everyone last week.  I hope someone missed me!  LOL.  We were out of town visiting family in Virginia.  We did not get to visit them at Christmas because of weather and several members of my family being sick, so it was great to have Christmas in January.

Today, you will be inspired by the work of Aymee.  Her work is wonderful!  I've admired lots of her creations on the Cricut message board, and now you can be inspired by her blog.  She's always trying new techniques, and whatever she does is beautiful!  Click here to check out her blog.  Thanks Aymee for sharing your creativity.

Inspiration Alley - January 9, 2010

Baby, it's cold outside!  I think the low here in North Carolina this morning was around 15.  Way too cold for me!  But, I'm thinking that a little inspiration will warm me up just fine.  And inspiration is what I have found in Sandee's blog.  Sandee does a lot of cards for the stamp line "Our Daily Bread," and they are absolutely beautiful!  Whether you make cards or do scrapbook pages, you certainly will be inspired by visiting Sandee's blog entitled "Simply Southern Sandee."  Click here to begin your inspiration journey!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope everyone who visits our blog will have a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010.  And I know you're thinking the same thing as me, where did 2009 go???  It seems that it was only here a month or so!  HA!  That old saying really is true -- the older you get, the faster time seems to fly.

We're back this week with some awesome inspiration.  I've chosen another sketch site that has so many great sketches and inspiration from some great designers.  It's called Pencil Lines.  If you haven't checked it out yet, make sure you do.  You will be glad you did!  Click here to be inspired!

Inspiration Alley - December 19, 2009

Christmas is upon us.  I hope all of you are enjoying your pre-holiday festivities.  After my granddaughter came to visit a couple of weeks ago and walked through the door saying, "Mimi, you need to decorate for Christmas," I decided that I needed to get busy.  It's pretty bad when a 4 year old has to remind you to decorate!  She was my inspiration!

And today I'm here with lots of scrapbooking inspiration.  I found this awesome sketch site today entitled "52 Sketches 52 Weeks."  I love it!  Not only are there great sketches every week, but great inspiration from very talented scrapbookers!

Click here to go to this awesome site.

And may each of you have a Merry Christmas!

Inspiration Alley -- December 12, 2009

Baby It's Cold Outside!  Or, at least it is here in North Carolina!  It was 22 degrees when I woke up this morning.  That's cold for me!

To inspire you today, I've chosen Veronica's blog entitled, "Point, Shoot. Create."  How creative is that!  I actually only recently found this blog because Veronica was chosen to be part of Helen's design team at Scrap A Little.  First of all, congrats Veronica!  And by looking at your blog, I sure understand why you were chosen.  I love the layouts you've done!

I'm sure you will all enjoy checking out Veronica's blog and seeing her beautiful scrapbook pages.  Click here to be inspired this week!

Inspiration Alley -- December 5, 2009

Happy Saturday fellow crafters! I'm back again this week with another great blog to inspire you. This one is directed to the folks who use their Cricut die cutting machine a lot (of course I'm obsessed with mine). The blog I'm featuring today is entitled "Christmas With the Cricut." Since we're in the Christmas season, I thought you might like to be inspired by creations that are Christmas related. And there are so many great cards and projects on this blog, I'm sure you will definitely be inspired!

Thanks Joy, Melanie, and Tammy for this awesome blog! Enjoy!

Inspiration Alley -- November 28, 2009

Good morning! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and if you enjoy shopping, were able to get out on Black Friday and find some awesome deals. I personally went out with my daughter and spent too much money!

Since it is Saturday morning, it is time again to find some inspiration, and I have a great blog for you today. I just found Robyn's blog, and it is definitely going into my favorites! Robyn uses such beautiful colors, and she's great at both cards and scrapbook pages. She is a designer for Bo Bunny, and several others, so you know she does great work! Thanks Robyn for sharing your beautiful work with us!

Be inspired!

Inspiration Alley -- November 21, 2009

It's that time of year when we really should reflect on the things we are thankful for. If you could make a list of the things you are most thankful for, what would be on that list? I'd have to say that I'm thankful for Jesus Christ (sorry if that is offensive to anyone, but it is who I am), my family, my friends, my home, my job (these days, that is a big thing to be thankful for), and I would add that I am thankful for the hobby I've found. Scrapbooking has enriched my life so much. I enjoy the pages I make for my family scrapbook albums, the cards I make for friends and family, all of the many things I've made for eBay, and last but not least, I am very thankful for the Pocket Full of Papers team. This was my first year with this team, and I have to say I've enjoyed it thoroughly. These gals truly are talented, encouraging, and fun! What blessings I have!

And now onto the real reason for this post (sorry -- I can get carried away when talking about blessings)! Today, I want to introduce you to Helen Croft's blog, entitled "Scrap a Little." I found Helen's work a couple of years ago on http://www.scrapbook.com/. I loved her style. She has such a clean style, and her pages are so well done! She is extremely talented. Her blog has some awesome tutorials for flowers, great sketches, and I know you will be as inspired by her work as I have been.

Enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Inspiration Alley -- November 14, 2009

Good Saturday morning crafters! (When I typed that, I felt like Ty Pennington when he yells on Extreme Makeover Home Edition -- LOL.) I hope you're all having a great beginning to your weekend. I can actually see sunshine this morning. I haven't seen the sun in 4 days. We had 4 inches of rain this week from tropical storm Ida. I am so ready for the sun!

And to inspire me, and all of you, this morning, I've chosen Linda Duke's blog entitled "Linda's Works of Heart." What a cool name for a blog. And Linda's work is definitely a work of art too. She does beautiful work. I enjoy looking at her blog and being inspired by so many gorgeous things she creates. I know you will too!

Inspiration Alley -- November 7, 2009

It's Saturday again, and I hope everyone's day is great. Maybe you'll even get some time to do some type of crafting, whether it be cardmaking, scrapbooking, or other project. I hope to work on an eBay project, and maybe finish a scrapbook page that I've had on my table for weeks, and then work on a birthday card for a co-worker.

And to inspire you (and me) this week, I've chosen the beautiful work of Cindy Haffner. Her blog has some of the most adorable cards I've seen. She is very talented indeed. Thank you so much Cindy for sharing your talent with us!

Inspiration Alley -- October 31, 2009

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope each of you will have a fun-filled evening, watching kids gather candy and enjoying themselves! I'm really looking forward to seeing my 4 year old granddaughter in her costume, and even my little grandson, who is only 2 1/2 months old.

Now to the real point of this post -- It's that time of the week --time to be inspired by the work of a very talented artist. This week I've chosen the blog "Live in the Moment." I just found this blog this week, and I am so glad I did! Irene does awesome work! Thanks Irene for sharing your wonderful talent with us!

Inspiration Alley -- October 17, 2009

Okay ladies (and gentlemen too, if there happen to be any), are you ready to be inspired again? I hope you are enjoying the blogs I am posting. I know I sure am!

Today's blog is one of my favorite card maker's blogs. I've been watching her work for at least a year, and I love what I see more and more all of the time. Her style really speaks to me. Her name is Amy, and her blog is Pickled Paper Designs. I hope you will check it out! And thanks Amy for always inspiring me!

And here it is again, time for your weekly inspiration -- brought to you by the great designers here at Pocket Full of Papers. This week I've chosen a blog that I found very recently and wish I had found a long time ago! The blog belongs to Toni. Her scrapbook pages have so much detail, and are absolutely beautiful! She inspires me, and I know she will inspire you to stretch yourself to do greater things! Enjoy.

Hope everyone's autumn has started off with great weather and lots of scrapping time. I love the beauty that the season shows us. I saw a quote and thought I'd share it with you: "Autumn is a second spring when every flower is a leaf." (author unknown) Pretty sweet, isn't it!?!

Anyway, for this week's inspiration alley, I've chosen the blog of a lady who does awesome work, and she does lots of two page layouts, which really inspire me. I still do quite a few two page layouts for my family albums because I take so many photos! And of course I do two page layouts for eBay too. Heather's layouts, both one and two pagers (and her cards), are always creative and beautiful. I'm sure you'll be inspired when you visit her blog:

Welcome to Inspiration Alley

The designers at Pocket Full of Papers are always ready for inspiration. So, we decided that we would start sharing with our readers a few of the great blogs we've come across. We will plan to highlight a blog every week -- sometimes an individual blog, sometimes a challenge blog -- who knows what we might find and share!

For our very first post, I wanted to share the talent of an amazing lady -- Becca. I found Becca's website about a year ago, and I am so glad I did. Her talent is beyond creative! I hope you will find inspiration among her many beautiful creations!
